Recognizes more than 13,000 licensed professional counselors and licensed associate professional counselors in Georgia who provide mental health services

Acknowledges LPCs' training in psychopathology, testing and assessment, ethics, research, diversity, career development, and human development

Notes LPCs are authorized to practice independently, bill insurance companies directly, diagnose clients, and conduct mental health evaluations

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to distribute copies of the resolution to the public and press
