Congratulates Carroll Electric Membership Cooperative on its 90th anniversary, established in 1936 following creation of the Rural Electrification Administration by President Franklin D. Roosevelt

Robert D. Tisinger spearheaded the electrification movement in West Georgia, with the first power line serving 344 members on July 31, 1937

The cooperative now serves more than 56,000 members across seven counties: Carroll, Haralson, Heard, Paulding, Polk, Troup, and Floyd

Infrastructure includes more than 5,500 miles of line and 25 substations

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to the cooperative
