Georgia House Resolution 1614 formally recognizes and commends Pastor Nancy Kornegay for her decades of religious leadership and community service

Pastor Kornegay began preaching at age 16 in 1973 in Goldsboro, North Carolina, and later relocated to Hinesville, Georgia through military service with her husband Charles Kornegay

Founded the Tabernacle of Prayer on Memorial Drive in Hinesville with seven adults and four children as initial members

The church relocated seven times before establishing a permanent home in 2009 with approximately fifty members

The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to provide a copy of the resolution to Pastor Nancy Kornegay
