Creates a House Study Committee on Local Government Emergency Disaster Relief Loans composed of five members appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives

Committee will evaluate the feasibility of establishing a state bridge loan program to help local governments cover disaster-related expenses while awaiting FEMA reimbursement

Study will include review of similar bridge loan programs in other states and consideration of how such a program could be funded and operated in Georgia

Committee members may receive allowances for up to five days unless additional days are authorized, with funding from House of Representatives appropriations

Committee must file any report with findings or proposed legislation before December 1, 2026, when it will be abolished
