Creates a 13-member House Study Committee on Diabetes Related Amputations, with 6 state representatives and 7 additional members including medical school representatives, an endocrinologist, a Department of Community Health member, a federally qualified health center representative, and two diabetes patients

Committee will analyze statewide data on diabetes-related amputations, evaluate prevention strategies, identify best clinical practices, and assess barriers to early diagnosis and limb preservation services

Committee will develop recommendations on patient outcomes, public awareness, provider education, and policy considerations related to insurance coverage and equitable access to treatment

Committee may hold no more than four meetings and must file its report with the Clerk of the House of Representatives before December 1, 2026, when the committee will be abolished

Final report will be made publicly available to inform future legislative and regulatory action on reducing preventable amputations in Georgia
