Urges the Georgia Department of Education and local school systems to include ex officio, honorary, and nonvoting student representatives on local boards of education

Student representatives would have the right to attend and participate in open board meetings but cannot vote, make motions, determine quorum, or participate in executive sessions

City Schools of Decatur currently uses this model and reports positive impacts on student engagement and district policy-making

Requires any developed policy to be presented to the chairpersons of the House Committee on Education

Directs the Clerk of the House to distribute copies of the resolution to the Department of Education and all local school systems
