Georgia House Resolution 1719 commends Monique Wilson, a breast cancer survivor diagnosed with Stage I breast cancer in 2016 who works as a cancer care coordinator, board-certified mastectomy fitter, wellness coach, and ordained minister.

Wilson has participated in the annual Tour de Pink charity bike ride for eight consecutive years alongside her husband of 26 years.

In 2023, she became an NCCS Elevate Ambassador with the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship and traveled to Capitol Hill to advocate for federal survivorship legislation.

She serves as chapter president of Sisters Network, Southwest Georgia, and as a Face2Face coordinator with the Young Survival Coalition, providing mentorship to fellow survivors.

The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to provide a copy of the resolution to Monique Wilson.
