Corporal Daniel Baldino and Corporal Dylan Warren of the Telfair County Sheriff's Office are commended for their heroic actions on March 5, 2026

The corporals responded to an emergency call about a vehicle driven into a creek, shed their duty gear, and entered the water to rescue a trapped victim

A small air pocket inside the submerged vehicle kept the victim alive until the officers successfully removed her from the vehicle, saving her life

Other responding officers included Captain Bobby Solomon, Sergeant Macy Deen, Deputies Chris Holland and Jacob Johnson (Telfair County Sheriff's Office), and Officer Kaleb Knowles (McRae-Helena Police Department)

The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to provide copies of the resolution to Corporals Baldino and Warren
