Recognizes and commends the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University on its 30th anniversary in 2026, having welcomed its first class in fall 1996 with over 200 faculty members

Named in honor of Ambassador Andrew Young in 1999 by the Georgia Board of Regents, the school is now ranked in the top 20 schools of public affairs nationally

Encompasses five disciplines: criminal justice and criminology, economics, public management and policy, social work, and urban studies

Houses nationally recognized research centers including the Georgia Health Policy Center, Georgia Policy Labs, Fiscal Research Center, Center for State and Local Finance, International Center for Public Policy, and Experimental Economics Center

Enrolls more than 2,200 students annually and has educated over 20,000 alumni serving in government, nonprofit, international, and private sector leadership roles
