Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority was founded December 1, 1975, at Kean University as the first Latina sorority in the nation, now celebrating 50 years with over 10,000 members

The Alpha Sigma Alumnae Chapter has organized Mujeres Day at the Capitol since 2019 to train women in advocacy and the legislative process

The chapter received the 2025 Lambda Theta Alpha Political Chapter of the Year award for outstanding commitment to civic engagement

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to the sorority
