Creates the House Study Committee on Local Governmental Professional Contracting to evaluate design criteria and architectural documentation standards for state construction projects

Committee will consist of 5 House members appointed by the Speaker, with one designated as chairperson

Members receive allowances under Code Section 28-1-8 for up to 4 days of meetings unless additional days are authorized

Committee must file a report with findings and any proposed legislation with the Clerk of the House, approved by majority quorum vote

Committee will be abolished on December 1, 2026
