"Some Cut" achieved platinum certification, peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, and has been sampled by artists including Drake, J. Cole, Russ, and Doechii

The resolution credits Trillville with helping establish Atlanta as one of the most influential cities in hip-hop history and shaping the sound of Southern hip-hop during the crunk era
