Georgia House Resolution honoring Ima Jean Fleming Foster (August 3, 1951 – March 1, 2026), a Forrest City native and Lane College graduate who was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Served more than 40 years as a History, French, and Social Science teacher, earning Teacher of the Year honors at San Elizario High School, Dunbar High School, and Forrest City High School

Directed the National Honor Society for 20 years and coached track and field and cross-country

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to her family
