Creates a House Study Committee on Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence composed of 5 members appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives

Committee will study AI risks to minors seeking advice or information, AI use by state agencies in decisions affecting residents, transparency and human review standards for AI-assisted decision-making, and opportunities for AI to improve government efficiency

Committee will also examine AI's role in economic development, workforce readiness, and innovation in Georgia, as well as potential legislative or regulatory approaches for responsible AI use

Members receive allowances under Code Section 28-1-8 for up to 5 days of meetings unless additional days are authorized, with funding from House appropriations

Committee must file a report with findings and proposed legislation recommendations (if adopted by majority vote) before December 1, 2026, when the committee will be abolished
