Long COVID affects an estimated 10-30% of individuals infected with SARS-CoV-2 and has been linked to cardiovascular disease, neurological impairment, cognitive dysfunction, and organ damage

Committee members receive allowances per Code Section 28-1-8, limited to five days unless additional days are authorized, with funding from House appropriations

Committee must file any findings or legislative recommendations with the Clerk of the House and stands abolished on December 1, 2026
