Received numerous military decorations including the Legion of Merit, Distinguished Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, AF Commendation Medal, and National Defense Medal

Married to his wife Joyce for 60 years with two children (Timothy and Leslie) and one granddaughter (Nalah)

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to the Humphries family
