Georgia House Resolution recognizing and commending Liz Fernandes, head golf coach at Emory University

Fernandes graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2012 and has worked as an assistant golf professional, college coach, and teaching professional at courses including The Quarry in La Quinta, California and Scarsdale Golf Club in New York

Led Emory Eagles to second place at NCAA Championships in her first season as head coach and won an NCAA Championship title in her second season

Mentored athletes Sharon Mun, Carys Code, Ellen Dong, and Zimo Li, with Carys Code becoming the second Eagle to win an individual NCAA Championship title

Directs the Clerk of the House to provide a copy of the resolution to Liz Fernandes
