Atlanta Gas Light was incorporated by the Georgia General Assembly on February 16, 1856, after lighting the first gas lamps in Atlanta on December 25, 1855

The company serves approximately 1.8 million customers and invests up to $50 million annually in natural gas infrastructure across Georgia

Atlanta Gas Light and its foundation have invested more than $150 million in community initiatives since founding, with over $2.5 million provided to nonprofits in 2025 and more than 4,000 employee volunteer hours

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to Atlanta Gas Light
