Creates a House Study Committee on Comprehensive Services and Long-term Outcomes for Individuals with Disabilities, composed of 5 members appointed by the Speaker of the House

Committee will examine access to disability services across state agencies, including Medicaid waiver programs (NOW and COMP), application processes, waiting lists, and administrative barriers

Study areas include transition services from school to adulthood, workforce shortages among direct support professionals, interagency coordination between the Department of Education, DBHDD, DCH, and Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency

Committee will address long-term planning concerns including housing options, guardianship, financial planning tools (special needs trusts, ABLE accounts), and continuity of care when caregivers can no longer provide support

Committee members may receive allowances for up to 5 days of meetings, with the committee set to be abolished on December 1, 2026
