Georgia House Resolution 1924 honors the life and legacy of Mary Ann Harrison ("Ann"), a Clayton County resident who passed away on May 24, 2006

Harrison was born November 22, 1950, in Gadsden County, Florida, and graduated from Northside High School in Havana, Florida

She was a devoted member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church and later Hopewell African Methodist Episcopal Church

The resolution extends deepest sympathy to her surviving family, including aunt Lelia Harrison, adopted son Robert Lee Dudley, and sisters Mary Alice Bryant and Mamie Joy

The Clerk of the House is directed to provide a copy of the resolution to Harrison's family
