Georgia House Resolution honors Mother Bernice Brim Powe (May 31, 1934 – September 2, 2024), who passed away at age 90

Born in Tallahassee, Florida; licensed as an Evangelist in 1966 through the Church of God in Christ and ordained as an Elder in 2009

Served in ministry internationally, including as a Servicemen's Fellowship leader in Germany, and was consecrated as a Prophetess on May 20, 2017, at Truth Gatherers Dream Center Church

Retired from the Leon County School System after earning an associate's degree in business from Sabine Valley Technical School and attending Northwestern State University

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to her family, including daughter Cynthia "Cindy" and grandsons Joshua and Caleb
