Hall served as Georgia Tech head baseball coach for 32 seasons (starting 1994), compiling a 1,244-676 record with 8 ACC regular-season championships, 5 ACC Tournament championships, 25 NCAA Tournament appearances, and 3 College World Series appearances

Previously served as head coach at Kent State University (1988-1993), winning two Mid-American Conference championships and two Coach of the Year honors

Overall career head coaching record of 1,452-793-1, ranking ninth in NCAA history for career victories

Mentored 149 Georgia Tech players selected in the MLB Draft (166 total selections) and 15 Academic All-America honorees; inducted into American Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2023 and named honorary Georgia Tech alumnus in 2024
