Georgia House Resolution urging U.S. Congress to require USDA to expand SNAP eligibility for college students by counting unpaid work toward the 20-hour weekly employment exemption

Current federal rules make higher education students ineligible for SNAP unless they work at least 20 hours per week in paid employment

Proposed qualifying activities would include: research assistantships, teaching assistant work, student organization involvement (including officer positions), volunteer and community service hours, and student ambassador duties

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to distribute copies of the resolution to the U.S. Congress
