Dedicates the bridge on U.S. Highway 29/State Route 8 over South Fork Broad River in Madison County as the "R. George Strickland, Jr. Memorial Bridge"

Honors R. George Strickland, Jr. (September 26, 1945 - April 13, 2024), a Madison County businessman and public servant who lived most of his life in Danielsville, Georgia

Strickland served on the Danielsville City Council for 8 years (including 4 years as Mayor Pro Tem), the Madison County Board of Education for 12 years, and the Madison County Tax Equalization Board

Founded Madison County Hardware, co-founded Georgia Metals, and operated Royston Rentals and Ace Hardware stores in Colbert and Crawford

Directs the Department of Transportation to erect and maintain appropriate signage for the memorial bridge
