Charges the committee with studying addiction challenges in Georgia, identifying resources for recovery, improving educational programs for professional and volunteer groups, and recommending legislation

Cites addiction costs business owners over $750 billion annually in lost revenue, productivity, and healthcare costs, with drug overdose death rates at 28.6 per 100,000 in urban counties and 26.2 per 100,000 in rural counties

Provides for legislative members to receive standard allowances under Code Section 28-1-8, with funding from House of Representatives appropriations

Committee must file any approved report with findings or legislative recommendations with the Clerk of the House and stands abolished on December 1, 2025
