Creates the House Study Committee on Insurance Market Reform to examine rising insurance premiums, industry rate-setting practices, profit margins, claims processing, and regulatory compliance

Committee composed of 8 House members appointed by the Speaker, plus 3 nonlegislative members with relevant expertise; Speaker designates chairperson and vice chairperson

Committee will study insurance market conditions and recommend legislation to address consumer protection from predatory pricing and ensure market fairness and transparency

Legislative members receive per diem allowances for up to 5 days unless additional days are authorized; funding comes from House of Representatives appropriations

Committee must file any approved report with the Clerk of the House and stands abolished on December 1, 2025
