Creates a House Study Committee on Mental Health Workforce Development composed of five House members appointed by the Speaker of the House

Committee will study undergraduate degrees and mental health career paths, evaluate employment needs, and recommend workforce development initiatives to address Georgia's mental health professional shortage, particularly in rural areas

Employment of substance use, behavioral disorder, and mental health counselors is projected to grow 19% from 2023 to 2033, while more than half of the U.S. population lives in a Mental Health Professional Shortage Area

Committee members may receive legislative allowances for up to five days unless additional days are authorized, funded from House of Representatives appropriations

Committee must file a report with findings and any proposed legislation before December 1, 2025, when the committee will be abolished
