Creates a House Study Committee on Street Lighting Along State Routes composed of 5 members appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives

Committee will assess where street lights along state routes are nonfunctional, outdated, or absent, and examine funding and jurisdictional challenges with local governments, utility providers, and the Department of Transportation

Committee will study mechanisms for tracking and reporting street lighting issues, including how citizens can notify appropriate agencies about problems

Legislative members receive allowances per Code Section 28-1-8 for no more than 5 days unless additional days are authorized, funded from House appropriations

Committee must file any findings or proposed legislation with the Clerk of the House and stands abolished on December 1, 2025
