Creates a House Study Committee on Pharmacy Benefits Managers and Consumer Access to Prescription Medications to examine PBM practices including patient steering to affiliate pharmacies, medication price markups, and manipulation of pharmacy reimbursement rates

Committee membership includes the chairpersons of the House Appropriations and Health Committees, plus three additional members or experts appointed by the Speaker of the House

Georgia law currently requires PBMs to report drug prices exceeding 10% above national average acquisition costs; reports have revealed markups of thousands of percent for medications treating multiple sclerosis, cancer, and kidney disease

Committee members receive allowances for up to five days unless additional days are authorized, with funding from House of Representatives appropriations

Committee must file any report with findings or legislative recommendations before December 1, 2026, when it stands abolished
