Prohibits males from participating on female-designated athletic teams in interscholastic and intercollegiate competitions at Georgia public schools, participating private schools, and postsecondary institutions, while allowing females to participate on male teams if no corresponding female team exists

Requires all athletic teams to be designated as male, female, or coed (for K-12 only), with sex defined as biological sex that can be clinically verified at or before birth, not determined by self-identification

Mandates sex-segregated multiple occupancy restrooms, changing areas, locker rooms, and sleeping quarters for student athletes during competitions and overnight trips

Prohibits postsecondary institutions from awarding athletic scholarships allocated for female teams to male athletes, and bars Georgia state schools from hosting competitions that allow males on female teams

Creates a private cause of action for students deprived of athletic opportunities or harmed by violations, with entitlement to monetary damages, attorney's fees, and court costs; establishes grievance procedures with expedited review options and potential sanctions including withholding of state funds for noncompliant institutions
