Increases the number of superior court judges in the Augusta Judicial Circuit from 5 to 6

Governor will appoint the additional judge for a term beginning January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2028; successor will be elected in the 2028 nonpartisan judicial election for a four-year term beginning January 1, 2029

The new judge will have equal powers, duties, jurisdiction, and compensation as the existing superior court judges in the circuit

Authorizes the judges to appoint an additional court reporter for the circuit

Counties in the Augusta Judicial Circuit are authorized to provide courtrooms, facilities, office space, equipment, supplies, and personnel for the judges, with expenditures payable from county treasuries
