Waives sovereign immunity for local governments and governmental immunity for their officials and employees who violate Georgia's prohibition on immigration sanctuary policies, allowing them to be sued for violations

Requires custodial authorities (state commissioner, county sheriffs, wardens, and police chiefs) to comply with federal immigration detainer notices, including DHS Form I-247 requests to hold individuals

Mandates that custodial authorities inform detained individuals when they are being held pursuant to an immigration detainer notice

Waives sovereign and governmental immunities for custodial authorities who fail to comply with immigration detainer notice requirements, exposing them to legal liability
