Firearms discharged at a person under 18 years of age are declared contraband and must be destroyed, rather than being returned, sold, or forfeited through standard civil forfeiture procedures

Law enforcement agencies must destroy such firearms within one year of receiving them from custody after evidentiary purposes are complete

Amends Georgia Code Sections 17-5-51 and 17-5-52 relating to disposition of seized property and civil forfeiture of weapons used in crimes

Creates an exception to existing law that otherwise allows weapons used in crimes to be returned to owners, sold, or processed through civil forfeiture
