Allows unregistered Georgia residents to register and vote on Election Day at their precinct polling place, during advance voting at any advance voting location in their county, or at the registrar's office during the advance voting period

Requires same-day registrants to complete an official voter registration application, present photo identification, and prove residency using a Georgia driver's license, government-issued ID with current address, college ID with campus residence proof, or documents like utility bills, bank statements, or government checks showing name and current address

Same-day registrants must cast a provisional ballot; the board of registrars has three business days to verify eligibility and add qualified voters to the registration rolls before counting their ballots

Persons still in line at poll closing time to complete same-day registration must be allowed to finish their application, provide identification, and cast a provisional ballot

Applicants whose registration is rejected will be notified in writing within three business days of the rejection and the reasons; their provisional ballots will not be counted
