Increases the number of State Court of Henry County judges from four to five, effective January 1, 2026

The fifth judge will be appointed by the Governor for an initial term ending December 31, 2028, with successors elected in nonpartisan elections beginning in 2028 and quadrennially thereafter

All judges must serve full-time and receive a salary equal to 90 percent of Henry County Superior Court judges' salaries, paid from county funds

The judge with the longest tenure serves as chief judge and receives a $10,000.00 annual salary supplement for administrative duties

The chief judge may appoint a judge pro hac vice to serve terms not exceeding one year when necessary
