Brunswick and Glynn County Development Authority board restructured to 5 members: 4 seats (Seats 1-4) appointed jointly by Glynn County and City of Brunswick governing authorities, and Seat 5 reserved for the chairperson or vice-chairperson of the Glynn County Board of Commissioners

Seats 1-4 transition to staggered 4-year terms expiring June 30 of 2026, 2027, 2028, and 2029 respectively, with members limited to two successive 4-year terms followed by a mandatory 2-year waiting period before reappointment eligibility

Seat 5 appointed annually by the Glynn County Board of Commissioners for 1-year terms beginning January 1, with a maximum of 4 successive terms; initial term runs August 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025

Members may be removed for cause (misconduct, legal/ethical violations, attendance policy failures, or breach of oath causing material harm) by unanimous vote of remaining 4 board members following written notice and a hearing

All members must be Glynn County taxpayers and residents; members in Seats 1-4 cannot be county or city officers/employees; the Seat 5 member cannot serve as an officer of the board
