Bars franchisors from imposing higher standards on franchise locations than on company-owned facilities regarding physical plant, employee attire, product offerings, or pricing

Voids franchise agreement provisions requiring application of another state's law or selecting venue outside Georgia, and requires survivors of deceased franchisees receive six months to continue operating without additional training requirements

Violations constitute unfair trade practices under Georgia's Fair Business Practices Act of 1975, with individuals harmed having a private cause of action; effective July 1, 2025 for new franchises and renewals
