Landlords would be prohibited from requiring disabled veterans to have monthly income exceeding twice the monthly rent to qualify as tenants

Eligible disabled veterans include those with 100% VA disability rating, those compensated at 100% due to individual unemployability, or those receiving statutory awards for loss of limbs, hands, or vision

Veterans disabled due to loss of both lower extremities requiring mobility aids, or combinations of limb loss affecting balance and propulsion, also qualify

"Income" is defined as federal adjusted gross income from all sources under the Internal Revenue Code

Adds new Code section 44-7-26 to Georgia's landlord-tenant law under Title 44, Chapter 7
