Homeless sexual offenders must report changes in sleeping location within 36 hours (reduced from 72 hours) and must comply with requests from homeless service providers to disclose their registry status.

Sexual offenders must report international travel plans at least 21 days in advance, including departure/arrival dates, flight information, destination addresses, and purpose of travel.

The Department of Community Supervision may fit homeless sexual offenders on probation or parole with GPS tracking devices if they fail to accurately report sleeping locations or comply with geographic restrictions, with 90-day reviews of continued need.

Offenders convicted on or after July 1, 2026, of certain crimes against children under 12 (child molestation, enticement) receive automatic Level II classification, while those convicted of rape, aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, or trafficking for sexual servitude are automatically classified as sexually dangerous predators.

Stable housing accountability programs must require applicants to disclose if they are registered sexual offenders and report accepted offenders' names, addresses, and birthdates to the county sheriff.
