Prohibits possession, use, operation, manufacture, sale, distribution, or import of signal jammers intended to interfere with wireless communications, cellular systems, GPS, radar, radio, telephone, or cable systems

Standard violation is a felony punishable by 1-7 years imprisonment and/or up to $10,000 fine; enhanced penalties of 1-10 years and up to $25,000 fine apply when targeting public safety agencies, 9-1-1 centers, or critical infrastructure

Sentences for use/operation violations cannot be suspended, stayed, deferred, or withheld by the court, and violations do not merge with other offenses

Signal jammers and related property used to facilitate violations are designated contraband subject to civil forfeiture, with the Attorney General specifically authorized to initiate forfeiture proceedings

Exempts activities authorized under federal law, FCC-approved uses, and possession/use by public safety agencies, law enforcement, and correctional agencies; effective July 1, 2026
