Requests for booking photographs or law enforcement videos must identify the individual by first and last name and include a notarized statement affirming lawful use; false statements constitute a criminal violation under Code Section 16-10-20.

Requests for booking photographs or law enforcement videos must be made in person as separate individual requests, unless the request is made by the person depicted or their attorney/designated agent.

Settlement agreements resolving unlawful employment practice claims against the General Assembly, including sexual harassment, discrimination, or retaliation claims, must be publicly disclosed with the claimant's identity redacted; this provision applies retroactively.

The General Assembly remains exempt from Georgia's Open Records Act (Code Sections 50-18-70 through 50-18-78) except for the employment settlement disclosure requirement.

Effective upon Governor's approval and applies to booking photograph requests made on or after that date.
