Children who turn four or five years old by September 1 become eligible for enrollment in Georgia's voluntary Pre-K Program at the request of their parent or guardian

Enrollment is limited to one year per child; no student may participate in the Pre-K program for more than one year

Four-year-olds and five-year-olds must be treated equally when selecting students for available Pre-K seats

Effective July 1, 2026, applying to the 2026-2027 school year and beyond
