GA SB600

Prohibits business corporations, nonprofit corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships, and limited liability companies from engaging in "ballot issue activity" (supporting/opposing recalls, constitutional amendments, referenda, or ballot questions) or "election activity" (supporting/opposing candidates, political parties, or political committees)

Restricts corporate powers to only those expressly granted by the General Assembly, removing existing language that gave corporations "the same powers as an individual to do all things necessary or convenient"

Exempts bona fide news stories, commentary, and editorials distributed through broadcasting stations, newspapers, magazines, blogs, or other periodical publications, unless those media facilities are owned by a political party, committee, or candidate

Declares any prohibited political activity by covered entities as "ultra vires" (beyond their legal authority) and void, subject to civil enforcement including injunctive relief, civil penalties equal to the value of the prohibited activity, and revocation of corporate charter or dissolution

Effective upon Governor's approval, applying to ballot issue and election activity conducted on or after that date
