Authorizes the Municipal Court of the City of Decatur to charge a technology fee as a surcharge on each criminal and quasi-criminal fine, with a maximum amount of $15.00 per fine

Fee rate is set by the City of Decatur governing authority and may be waived by the municipal court judge on a case-by-case basis

Fee revenue is restricted to technology needs of the court and Decatur police department, including computer hardware/software, imaging and communications equipment, body-worn cameras, drones, and 9-1-1 emergency response systems

Collected funds must be maintained in a segregated account separate from other city funds, managed jointly by the municipal court clerk and city chief financial officer

Expenditures require city manager authorization and may reimburse the city's IT department for services provided to the court or police department
