Exempts the full value of a debtor's primary residence from levy and sale under Georgia state law, replacing the previous $21,500.00 cap on homestead exemptions

Creates a new bankruptcy exemption allowing Georgia debtors to protect the full value of their primary residence, including property in cooperatives

Maintains existing exceptions allowing enforcement against the primary residence for taxes, purchase money, labor performed on the property, materials furnished, or removal of encumbrances

Effective date: July 1, 2025
