County administrators shall serve as ex officio county conservators in addition to their existing role as ex officio county guardians, with separate letters of conservatorship and guardianship issued for each appointment

County conservators must provide an additional bond of $5,000 with good security, payable to the court for the benefit of all concerned parties

Beginning July 1, 2025, any individual designated as "county guardian" who is serving as a conservator will automatically be re-designated as "county conservator" by operation of law, without requiring an additional bond unless ordered by the court
