Recognizes March 2026 as Red Cross Month in Georgia and commends the American Red Cross for 145 years of humanitarian service

In 2025, Georgia Red Cross volunteers assisted over 12,900 individuals affected by more than 2,700 local disasters, including home fires, and deployed to national disasters such as the Los Angeles wildfires and Typhoon Halong in Alaska

More than 4,200 Georgia Red Cross volunteers collected over 188,000 units of blood at 8,100+ blood drives, plus 42,100 units of platelets and 1,400 units of plasma

Provided over 15,800 case services to military members, veterans, and their families, and trained more than 99,900 people in first aid, CPR, AED, and water safety

Installed over 6,000 smoke alarms in vulnerable homes through the Home Fire Campaign and directs the Secretary of the Senate to distribute copies of the resolution to the American Red Cross
