Georgia Highlands College, founded in 1970, has served more than 250,000 community members in Northwest Georgia over its 50+ year history

Students completed more than 250,000 credit hours in the past three academic years, with over 2,500 graduates joining the alumni ranks during that period

The college has offered more than 25,000 courses over the last 12 years and generated a combined economic impact exceeding $2.5 billion over 50 years

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to distribute copies of the resolution to the public and press
