Recognizes Georgia's historical role as the 13th British colony (established 1732) and the 4th state to ratify the Constitution (1788)

Acknowledges Georgia's three signers of the Declaration of Independence: Button Gwinnett, Lyman Hall, and George Walton

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to distribute copies of the resolution to the public and press
