Recognizes physician anesthesiologists' role in patient safety before, during, and after surgery, as well as in pain medicine and labor pain management

Notes physician anesthesiologists complete 12 to 14 years of education including medical school and 12,000 to 16,000 hours of training

Acknowledges the Anesthesia Care Team model led by physician anesthesiologists as the gold standard of care in top hospitals

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to distribute copies of the resolution to the Georgia Society of Anesthesiologists, the public, and the press
